Ancestry.com - My favorite	I have a year membership.  This site allows you to join in a trial period, with full access. Indexed "searchable" census for all years except 1860-1900.  These years must be searched manually by flipping through the images by township. A huge database of other family trees, you WILL find some of your ancestors already researched. "FREE" software (Ancesrty Family Tree 9.0) for your computer.  You don't even have to be a member. Social Security Death Index.
FamilySearch.org - My next favorite	Absolutely free site. 1880 Census indexed. Baptism records Other family trees
Genealogy.com	Some features free Other family trees.
Olive Tree Genealogy	I have not used this one very much yet.
The Pennsylvania Genealogy Web Page	I have not used this one very much yet.
Cumberland County Historic Society	$5 per visit or $30 per year membership.  I have a membership. Census microfilm for central Pennsylvania area only. Daily newspapers on microfilm. Cumberland county cemetary records.
